Challenge

Simon Data, a leading provider of complex marketing analytics software, faced a significant challenge: how to make their sophisticated platform accessible and more understandable to a broader audience. Their existing marketing materials were filled with technical jargon that made it hard for potential customers to recognize their benefits.

Solution

Taking complex concepts and turning them into easy-to-understand materials is normally undervalued by companies (but not consumers), so we were excited to start plugging away at this one. We proposed a campaign centered around the use of simple shapes to represent complex marketing metrics and processes in order to bridge the gap between the company and a broader audience.

Campaign

Making elaborate marketing concepts digestible through high-quality visuals is always fuel for our imagination. For this campaign, we utilized a funnel to illustrate the customer's journey, with various shapes representing each stage of the funnel (or marketing metric). Circles, squares, and triangles were employed to represent those various marketing metrics, making the process easily recognizable and relatable.

We used simple visuals to represent more intricate elements throughout Simon Data's marketing materials, as seen through the company's website, social media, and sales presentations. In addition to this, the campaign also included a series of blog posts and webinars that delved deeper into these concepts using the same visual language to reinforce understanding.

The campaign was a resounding success. By simplifying complex concepts through the use of easy-to-grasp visuals, we achieved the following:
